Meet
Dr. Obehi Okojie
I’ve always been curious. Not just about medicine, but about people.
Patterns. Behavior. The “why” behind what’s happening.
That curiosity is what led me into pediatrics. And it’s what led me beyond traditional medicine.

My Training
and What It Taught Me
I’m a pediatrician with a Master’s in Public Health. I trained at Ohio University and completed residency in Kansas City. But I knew early on that medicine alone wasn’t enough to answer the questions I kept asking.
So I kept learning. I studied in the Redwood forests. In India. In Germany.
I trained in:
Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine
Acupuncture
Hypnosis
Nutrition & Functional Medicine
I wanted to understand one thing:
What actually helps people heal?

I Don’t Just Treat, I
Coach
I’m also a certified Parent Coach.
Because in pediatrics, you’re not just helping a child—you’re supporting a family.
Parents don’t just need answers. They need clarity. They need direction.
They need to know what to actually do when they get home.
So I don’t just explain. I help you think through it. Apply it. Use it.
That’s why I hear this so often:
“No one has ever explained it like that before.”

Authenticity Is
Not Optional
Nothing creates relatedness quite like authenticity.
So I don’t separate who I am from how I practice. I show up fully.
That might look like bold glasses. Or bear slippers at work. Or simply being real, direct, and present.
Because people open up when they feel they can.
And when they open up, we get better answers.
When you work with me, you can expect:
Thoughtful, whole-child care
Clear explanations
A real plan
Follow-up that actually happens

My goal is simple:
Help your child heal—and help you feel confident doing it.
